Diary Monday 2nd July

Today I started my analysis of newspaper, to do this I created a powerpoint. I decided to use this program because I will add alot of writing to my analysis and thought this would be a more interesting way to display my work rather than typing it to a word document. Within my analysis I have looked at two types of newspapers in detail these were Buckinghamsire Examier and the Uxbridge Gazette. I found from my research that people want local news about things that have heppened in the area. This will be to inform the reader and to enterain them. For example I found that one popular area in newspaper articles in to have an article about educational success such as schools and collages. Therefore I have made the decision to create an article based on a school event and success of talented students. I could do this by writing about the school fashion show which will take place this summer. I have also found that many local newspapers are tabiolds because they have short articles and are the most popular forms of newspapers. However they do have a formal style like a broardsheet. Next lesson and at home I will work on my anaysis of local newspapers.
